Over 100 members of our Basketball club took over the CAA Arena, cheering on the local Brampton Honey Badgers of the CEBL as they hosted the Ottawa Blackjack.
Some of the players in our program got to partake in numerous pre-game ceremonies, including holding out a massive Canada flag during the National Anthem, lining up with the Host Honey Badgers during the Anthem on court, and getting to participate in on-court contests during breaks in the game.
After the conclusion of the game, all players were welcomed onto the court for a one-hour game session. All participants went home with a custom Warriors X Honey Badgers T-Shirt to commemorate the event.
It was an engaging, exciting and fun afternoon and we thank all the families who joined us on a beautiful summer day.
